7.5.2.3. Getting Omega

Omega is the unicode version of TeX. Lambda is the Omega version of LaTeX. Most TeX distributions come with these tools already, including the RedHat Linux distribution. The interscript llambda weaver produces lambda output encoded with UTF-8. Interscript generates and builds the required Omega Compiled Translation Process (ocp) file, inutf8.ocp, and dumps it. This requires mkocp for the ocp build, and outocp for the dump. You may need to move the file interscript/doc/inutf8.ocp to where your Omega installation can find it. The ocp is loaded by the omega weaver using a simple unqualified filename.
