3.3.2. Programming metrics
Because projects and management styles differ, and any notion
of software metrics is new enough to be classed a black art
rather than a science, interscript shall support user programmable
metrics. Just as programmers can use the Python scripting
engine to generate code or documentation,
in accordance with their needs, so too can new software metrics
be devised and programmed.
For this reason, interscript shall provide a basic statistical
analysis package. In addition, apart from standard metrics,
interscript shall provide hooks for gleaning other data required
for computation of these new metrics. [It is not clear at this
time how to do this.]
